We believe that the journey is just as important as the destination, and every mile on our tours is designed to bring a smile to your face. It is not just about the roads, it is about the memories we create together.

Guided tours involve a motorcycle-riding guide and support van, guiding you on the trip. These tours usually include a hotel package, meals, and other features, making them the most convenient option. To join a guided tour, reserve your spot in advance, arrive at the airport on the specified date, and we handle everything else.

In simple terms, this means you will not have a motorcycle-riding guide and support van for convenience. Instead, you get a combination of a hotel package, a road book or route notes, GPS, maps, or other arrangements like ferries, national parks, or trains and buses that we organize to simplify the trip.

Essentially, you will be your own guide, allowing you to experience the same route as guided tours, but without the convenience of following another rider or a group.

A private group motorcycle tour is exclusively for you, your friends, family, or coworkers who wish to share a fantastic riding experience together. Unlike guided tours with fixed departure dates that are open to the public, a private group tour is tailored specifically for your group, and outsiders are not allowed.

The per-rider cost for a private group tour tends to be lower with more participants, as the common or fixed costs, such as guides, accommodations, food, and salaries, are divided among the group, making it a cost-effective option for larger groups.

Worry not. By the end of the tour, you will have forged new friendships. You will not be the sole solo traveler; instead, you will be part of a community of like-minded individuals. Everyone seamlessly blends in, sharing a common passion for motorcycling.

If you book with a friend, you will be roommates with that person. If you choose to reserve a shared room individually, you will be paired with another fellow motorbike enthusiast who shares your passion. During the tour, you will be part of a group of like-minded individuals, making it easy to forge new friendships.

Brdar Moto Tours and Rentals is based in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving as the starting point for many of our tours. Banja Luka is conveniently connected to other major European hubs, including Vienna, Brussels, Barcelona, Basel, Stockholm, Dortmund, Memmingen, Baden-Baden, and Gothenburg, through low-cost airlines such as Ryanair, Wizz Air, and Lauda, as well as flights from Belgrade operated by Air Serbia.

If you are a citizen of the EU, USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand or Ireland, you do not require a visa to stay in any of the countries. Residents of other countries should check with their embassy.

You may be required to present your credit card (needed for the insurance deductible), driver's license, international driver's license, and passport on the initial day of the tour and at border crossings on following days.

All the hostilities in Bosnia and Croatia ended in 1995, and both countries are now perfectly safe for traveling.

It is crucial to dress in layers suitable for various climates, since our tours may traverse chilly high mountain passes one day and warm valley lowlands the next. Unexpected rain in the mountains is possible, so consider bringing a rain suit or acquiring one at our location.

Riding days may vary, ranging from as little as 150km (93 miles) to 400km (250 miles) per day, depending on the chosen trip. It is essential to consider this in terms of time spent smiling rather than distance ridden. For example, covering 200km in the winding Carpathian Mountains or the Alps of Europe can constitute a fulfilling riding day.

Some days may also involve ferry crossings, side excursions, or other activities, depending on the chosen trip. Our itineraries are carefully designed to maximize your vacation time, ensuring you stay engaged and entertained throughout the journey.

We choose premium accommodations and avoid budget options. Our tours feature carefully selected hotels, mostly 4-star, personally researched along our routes. We prioritize family-run boutique hotels and seek facilities like swimming pools. Our top priorities when selecting accommodation are quality, comfort, and friendliness. Additionally, we strive to choose places with nearby amenities such as restaurants, bars, and ATMs whenever possible.

Yes, we include a support vehicle as part of the tour package for guided tours with a minimum of 4 motorcycles or 6 participants. The guide on the motorcycle always accompanies the tour. The support vehicle carries your luggage, tools, spare parts, and more. Each guest is allowed to bring one large suitcase or two medium suitcases per person.

All dinners, excluding rest days, are incorporated into the cost of the guided tours. These dinners are usually enjoyed at local restaurants, providing our guests with the opportunity to sample regional specialties.

All our tours are designed to include some sightseeing time. There are a lot of interesting sights on the routes we take, and we have selected the best to fit the needs of our tours. We will suggest visiting museums, cultural sights, historic parts, archaeological sites, and other activities that make your travel experience more fulfilling and memorable.

In most places we go, you can use credit cards. However, there might be places that accept only cash, so we advise you to take some cash for daily expenses such as coffee, soft drinks, snacks or souvenirs. You will have access to ATMs, and we will make sure you have the possibility to withdraw cash while on tour.

No. The majority of our tours are designed to include a rest day every 3 to 4 days, allowing participants to take their time and relax. While we organize optional ride outs on these rest days, you can also choose to unwind in the charming towns we visit or enjoy amenities such as swimming pools at the hotels we stay in.

No, the decision of where and when to ride is entirely up to you. Each tour pack provides sufficient information to reach our destinations, including suggested routes and GPS data for your Sat Nav. This way, you can ride at your own pace, exploring the beautiful scenery along the way.

Yes. In this scenario, both parties would need to sign each other's rental contracts. If, by any chance, damage occurs to the other person's motorcycle, you will be responsible for covering the incurred damage or sharing the responsibility.

By law, helmets are mandatory for drivers and passengers of motorcycles in Europe. Please note that only motorcycle helmets with ECE 22.05 type-approval are road-legal on European roads.

Yes, you can mail your riding gear to our location in Banja Luka, just be sure to allow sufficient time. For further details, please contact us.

We provide motorcycle insurance. You are responsible for the deductible, which will be anywhere from 1,400 to 2,500 Euros depending on the bike. At the start of the tour, you will be required to sign a contract and provide your credit card number for the deductible. We will not charge your credit card unless the motorcycle is damaged. For lowering the deductible, contact us about our VIP Insurance.

Certainly. If you choose to use your own motorcycle instead of ours, you would pay the own bike cost. If you are riding two-up, the pillion passenger would pay the passenger price.

Major mechanical failures are very rare. We always maintain our motorcycles perfectly to ensure they run great before and during the ride. In the rare event of a motorcycle breakdown, we will make every effort and use all available resources to transport the bike to a service technician. In the highly unlikely event that the bike cannot be repaired, we will provide a replacement.

Yes, there is. Riders need to be at least 25 years old and possess a valid motorcycle driving license for at least 3 years.

Our tours are tailored for motorcyclists of all levels. A minimum of 5,000 miles of motorcycle experience is required, varying based on the tour grading. Our tours have different levels of difficulty, and we recommend checking the Route Grading and Hours of Riding evaluation for each tour to choose the one that suits your expertise. If you have any uncertainties, feel free to contact us, and our travel agent will provide guidance.

Over the years, we have designed many custom tours for our customers. We can custom design a guided tour for your motorcycle club or riding group of almost any size if you would like.

The status of each tour depends on the specific one chosen. If there are fewer than 4 or 6 bookings on a standard tour 30 days before the tour begins, Brdar Moto Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour. In such a scenario, we provide the option to proceed with the tour by paying a surcharge. The final decision to cancel or proceed is determined based on the participants' choices.

To ensure optimal service for our guests, we limit the size of our groups to ten motorcycles. On average, our groups typically consist of 6 to 8 bikes.
