Upon your arrival, we will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the vibrant city of Banja Luka at your leisure. In the evening, join us for a welcome dinner, where you'll meet your fellow riders and receive a tour familiarization and safety briefing.
After breakfast, we’ll start our journey through the scenic Vrbas River Canyons—Tijesno and Podmilačje—on our way to Jajce, known as the "Continental Dubrovnik" and listed on the UNESCO Tentative List. Here, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of Jajce’s historic landmarks before continuing to Šipovo, a town nestled among six rivers. We’ll stop for a lunch break here before heading toward Mostar. After checking in, you’ll have a guided tour of Mostar’s historic Old Town, including the iconic UNESCO-listed Old Bridge.
Today’s ride covers 200 km, packed with stops at multiple UNESCO sites. We’ll visit Kravice Waterfall, the historic town of Počitelj, the Buna River Spring, and the Radimlja necropolis near Stolac. Stolac, often referred to as the "Museum Under the Open Sky," will be our main highlight. Later, we’ll continue toward Vjetrenica Cave, another UNESCO Tentative List site, before finishing the day in Trebinje, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's hidden gems.
After an eventful previous day, you’ll have a well-deserved rest day in Trebinje. You can choose to stay in town, savoring local cuisine, visiting wineries, or strolling through the city with an optional guided tour. Alternatively, you can take a short trip to Dubrovnik, just 30 km away, for a taste of coastal heritage.
Revitalized after your rest day, we’ll set off for Višegrad, home to the UNESCO-listed Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge. En route, we’ll traverse Sutjeska National Park, one of Europe’s oldest rainforests, offering breathtaking views and a deep dive into Bosnia’s natural beauty.
After breakfast, we’ll head to the city of Konjic, where we’ll take a quick stop to explore an underground facility that once served as a top-secret shelter for President Tito. This historical landmark offers a glimpse into the country's past during the Cold War era. From Konjic, we’ll enjoy a thrilling ride along winding roads that pass by three picturesque lakes: Jablanica Lake, Blidinje, and Buško Blato. As we make our way to Lohovo, you’ll be captivated by the stunning landscapes of the Una National Park, where we’ll spend the night surrounded by nature’s beauty.
On our final day of riding, we’ll make a brief visit to the Željava Underground Base and Airport, a fascinating Cold War relic that once served as a top-secret military facility. From there, we’ll begin our journey back to Banja Luka, riding alongside Bosnia and Herzegovina’s stunning rivers, Una and Sana. As we approach the village of Piskavica, we’ll experience a unique cultural encounter with the UNESCO-recognized 'Slava'—the traditional Serbian celebration of a family's patron saint. Locals, dressed in traditional costumes, will offer a short performance of this cherished tradition, followed by a warm welcome with homemade food and live traditional music. It’s a perfect way to wrap up our unforgettable journey through Bosnia’s diverse cultural and natural heritage.
After breakfast, it’s time to say farewell. Depending on your departure schedule, you’ll have some free time to explore Banja Luka one last time or relax before your airport transfer. We hope you leave with unforgettable memories of Bosnia’s breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and warm hospitality. Safe travels, and we hope to see you again on another adventure!
